The Solar Lid Vision is designed to make Pure Vision controllers even more autonomous.
It features a photovoltaic panel integrated directly into the valve box lid. The panel is walkable and impact-resistant, keeping the controller’s rechargeable lithium batteries charged, ensuring uninterrupted operation and helping reduce maintenance activities.
For professionals, this means being able to offer an irrigation system that continues to operate reliably over time and requires fewer visits from both the installer and the customer.
The Solar Lid Vision is a solution worth considering for holiday homes, where the customer is not always present and discharged batteries might go unnoticed for some time. It is also suitable for residential complexes and public green areas, where reducing maintenance activities helps simplify irrigation system management. It is equally appropriate for environmentally conscious customers. Although reducing battery replacement may seem like a small improvement, it is still a meaningful step that helps maintain system efficiency over time.
The Solar Lid Vision is available in two versions to suit different applications.
What to consider | Standard | CERT |
Application | Private gardens | Public and professional areas |
Certification | – | UNI EN 124-6 Class A15 |
Controller compatibility | Pure Vision | Pure Vision |
Installation | Plug-and-play, IP68 connector, no additional wiring | Plug-and-play, IP68 connector, no additional wiring |
The Standard version is designed for residential installations, where aesthetics, practicality, and ease of installation are key requirements.
The CERT version, certified according to UNI EN 124-6 Class A15, is intended for professional applications and public green areas, where the valve box may be exposed to greater mechanical stress.
This dual offering allows installers to select the most suitable solution based on project requirements while maintaining the same advantages in terms of autonomous controller power supply.
The Solar Lid Vision has also been designed to simplify installation.
The photovoltaic panel is already integrated into the valve box lid, while the connection to the Pure Vision controller is made through an IP68-certified quick connector positioned inside the valve box, ensuring protection against water and external agents.
This means:
An irrigation system should continue operating even when conditions are not ideal.
The Solar Lid Vision is designed to recharge the batteries even in the presence of partial shading or temporary accumulations of leaves, dust, and soil, situations that commonly occur in outdoor installations.
This feature helps keep the controller operational throughout the year, even when light exposure varies during the day or across seasons.
Integrating the Solar Lid Vision means adding a component that makes the irrigation system even more autonomous and easier to manage over time.
Thanks to the integrated photovoltaic panel, the Pure Vision controller can continue operating continuously, reducing battery-related maintenance activities and providing customers with a system designed to require less maintenance.
For installers, it represents an opportunity to enhance the value of the project with a practical, easy-to-install solution designed to ensure reliability under real operating conditions.
