 From a simple requirement a great project has come out.
Since 1968 Eng. VITTORIO STIATTI ventured upon a problem: how to irrigate automatically his own garden and his own back-garden.
By this passion for green the first rudimentary European elecromechanical controller was born for irrigation system, the glorious “Pioggiatore”®.
After almost 35 years Rain S.p.A. is now the European leader in the production of Electricvalves, Battery Controllers, Injectors and accessories for professional market, but enthusiasm that the founder passed on his family is still strong as the first time.
Every year, in fact, new projects arise and the range of products develope more and more satisfying the demand of the market which recognize the innovative capacity of the company.
Our technical department put at the service of irrigaiton its twenty-year experience and the production staff his professionality in the realization and quality control procedures.
Rain S.p.A., unique in the European market, manufactures every single detail of its items and this aspect grants to be really adaptable to produce a wide range of articles that meet customer requirements.

Rain S.p.a. DNA is technological research.
Project and realization of any new product is developped under each aspect: either aesthetic or material.
Thanks to its high-qualified personnel and to a sofisticated technology CAD/CAM, design, projection and prototype of any new product are realized by the Search and Development Department.
Every year, just thanks to this professionalism and continuous investments new reliable and innovative articles are launched.
A direct line that joins Commercial with Marketing department and this last to the Search and Development office allows to satisfy from the beginning the most sofisticated requirements of the market.
Inside all the production lines for assembly and test are automatized, the production quality is costantly monitored by an internal on-line system that gives on real time the production status either for quantity or quality aspect.
High-level know-how in injecting plastic material is evidenced by a modern moulds system, completely automatized so to get items of real high-quality standard.

 Rain S.p.A. grants excellent high quality levels thanks to its inside
system of "total quality” applied to each working production phase relative to injection and semi-finished lots.
Thanks to this policy, every products and every single component could be always traced.
The company boasts also a test piece by piece effected on all our range of electric valves by subjecting the product at high static pressure for opening and at low pressure for closing.
This test is also used for battery waterproof controllers which are submerged for 48 hours into water before starting the final working test.
All solenoids are certified DAR, Deutscher Akkredtierungs Rat.
